Cleyde joined StoneCrabs because she whole-heartedly believes in the importance of the arts, especially drama, and its ability to transform communities. She is passionate about improving equality and diversity in the arts, theatre and the wider world. Cleyde is an IT Business Analyst and qualified Information Systems and management professional, with over 14 years of experience working in the financial sector. She has also volunteered as a dance teaching assistant, events organisation assistant and is also a member of Grupo Mulheres do Brasil. Her love of performing arts emerged after being involved in the execution of a special site-specific performance at the Saatchi Gallery in 2016, run as part of the Royal Court Theatre’s educational outreach programme. Passionate about art and design, Cleyde has undertaken courses in History of Performing Arts at the Victoria & Albert Museum, Major Events Management at City University, and in Drawing and Sculpture at both Central Saint Martins and the Slade School of Art. In joining StoneCrabs, Cleyde seeks to use her skills to do everything she can to aid the company in fulfilling its mission of enriching people’s lives through making theatre.
