Fabio Santos

Fabio produces theatre internationally and in the UK. In 2016 Fabio was awarded an MBE (Member of the British Empire) for his contribution to the arts. He was the artistic director/CEO of Project Phakama UK for ten years (2002 to 2012) delivering a number of artistic projects and learning initiatives, helping establish the organisation as a key player in the field of participatory arts both in the UK and internationally. Fabio has also worked as Interim Artistic Director/Chief Executive for LIFT. (London International Festival of Theatre) and as artist facilitator for Contacting the World International Festival. He was a guest lecturer at Londonmet and has run workshops and training projects for the police, social services, British Council, Teachers Forum, The Business Arts Forum, Graeae Theatre Company and The Shakespeare Festival in Gdansk-Poland.
