Tereza Araujo

Co-founder of StoneCrabs Theatre, Tereza has trained as an actor and Community Drama facilitator. Tereza studied acting the University of Bahia, in Brazil and has a Masters in community art from Goldsmiths University of London.  Tereza has vast stage and film experience, having won awards for Best Actress in Brazil and International Press Awards in London.

With a great interest in community and social theatre, she regularly runs workshops for Tate Modern, Tate Britain, Middlesex University, Regent’s University as well as supports community theatre programmes for Haringey, Lewisham and Lambert council.

Tereza has worked in Brazil, South Africa, India and Japan and has also facilitated drama workshops for young actors in Germany and Portugal.
