Paloma Jacob-Duvernet crossed the Channel to study at Central Saint Martins and started off as a stage designer for dance, circus and theatre productions. Not long after graduating, she resumed her acting training and joined the London School of Dramatic Art. Rich from her experience as a designer and with her acting skills, Paloma embarked on her director debut in 2018, with Medea (Camden Fringe – Cockpit Theatre, Reading Fringe Festival and Brighton Fringe – Purple Playhouse) the first production of her theatre company Wretched Strangers. More recently she directed her adaptation of Secret thoughts of David Lodge at Southwark Playhouse as part of StoneCrabs Directors In Practice program.
