The changing seasons from Autumn to Winter can bring a shift in the weather and evoke a rich and sometimes challenging tapestry of emotions.
At StoneCrabs Theatre we are reflecting on themes of transformation, reflection, and the warmth of community, inspired to delve deeper into the stories we love to share with you
Commemorating World Aids Day, 1 Dec at Monkton Arts
Join us on Sunday, December 1st, as we raise awareness, promote education, and advocate for accessible healthcare while combating stigma. Commemorating World AIDS Day is still highly relevant as we strive for a world free of HIV/AIDS and support those living with the condition. At the event, we will be letting you know more about our future plans for Out On An Island and we would love to hear your ideas about the support you feel is needed for future LGBTQ+ groups. We will be meeting at Monkton Arts from 11.30am to 1.30pm

We are hard at work preparing for our upcoming Pride In Self, Pride In Place exhibition in February – March 2025 at Quay Arts Main Gallery, when we will be celebrating 20 years of LGBT+ History Month.

LGBT+ Heritage Walks successful pilot
Last October we had the pleasure of hosting “A Walk on the Wilde Side of Ryde“ as part of the Visit Isle of Wight Walking Festival. This was an enlightening journey, exploring Oscar Wilde’s visit to the Isle of Wight and uncovering the hidden LGBT+ heritage and history of Ryde. We received some great feedback and plan to arrange more LGBTQ+ Heritage Walks in 2025!
