Dear friends, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager and a highly organised and experienced Stage Manager to join our team for an exciting new show at Omnibus Theatre (London) and Quay Arts (Isle of Wight).

PRODUCTION MANAGER
The role of the Production Manager is crucial in overseeing all technical and logistical aspects of the production, ensuring the seamless delivery of the show.

Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the creative team to oversee the planning and execution of all technical elements of the show, ensuring that the vision of the show is realised on stage.
-Lead on production meetings.
-Manage the production budget and resources efficiently, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
-Coordinate with external suppliers, contractors, and crew to ensure smooth running of rehearsals and performances.
-Ensure all necessary licensing is in place.
-Orchestrating the get-ins and get-outs and getting extra help if needed.
-Monitor and maintain high health and safety standards throughout the production process.
-Act as the main point of contact for all production-related matters, providing clear communication and problem-solving solutions.
-With the ED, supervise show reports and act as necessary.
-Overseeing company’s travel to/from The Isle of Wight.

Requirements:
-Previous experience as a Production Manager is desirable but not essential, this could be an opportunity for someone who is looking for experience towards career progression.
-Strong leadership and project management skills.
-Excellent budgeting and resource management abilities.
-Excellent organisational and communication skills.
-Knowledge of technical theatre equipment, stage design, and production processes.
-Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
Fee: £4,000.00 (Fixed fee for all duties)

STAGE MANAGER
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all backstage aspects of the production, ensuring smooth running of rehearsals and performances.

Key responsibilities:
-Working with the directors and production team to ensure the vision of the show is realised on stage.
-Setting up the rehearsal space, taking attendance, calling the start and end of rehearsal and calling breaks,
-Coordinating and managing all technical aspects of the production, inc. lighting, sound, tracking props and scenery.
-Communicating with the cast and crew to ensure everyone is well prepared for rehearsals and performances, including sending daily calls and schedule updates.
-Creating and maintaining a prompt book to track all cues and technical elements of the show, including recording blocking.
-Taking and distributing technical notes for the rehearsal report, sending the rehearsal report to designers, producer, production manager and admin staff.
-Working closely with the technical team to ensure all equipment is in working order and stage safety protocols are followed.
-Assisting the PM with rehearsal requirements and requests.
-Assisting with the maintenance of props, costumes, and equipment, keeping an inventory and ensuring everything is in good working order.
-Maintaining a daily rehearsal and show report and sharing it with the appropriate team: i.e. directors, designers, production manager and producers.
-Setting up and testing communications systems.
-Driving set, props and company to/from Isle of Wight ensuring safe transport and timely arrival at the venue.
-Operating sound and light as necessary.
-Helping with any other tasks as required by the production team including get in, tech, and get out.

Requirements:
-Excellent organisational and communication skills.
-Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
-Knowledge of technical theatre equipment and procedures.
-Experience in operating sound and light.
-Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during show runs.
-Full Driving Licence required.
Fee: £600 per week x 8 weeks

Isle of Wight Run:

Get out: 5 July 2024 (after last show)
